We at Bardobec are proud to offer cedar mulch that is manufactured exclusively from the recovery of cedar raw materials. It mainly comes from cedar log bark, recovered during our shingle production. Our cedar mulch is proof of our commitment to the protection of the environment.

As well as being of completely natural origin and 100% environmentally friendly, cedar mulch also helps soil to retain moisture. This property is a considerable advantage for any exterior landscaping. Cedar mulch also inhibits the growth of weeds and protects plants from insects. It is useful as an insulator to protect plant and shrub roots during the fall and winter months. Its ease of installation is much appreciated by consumers, as is its low maintenance level and its modern, decorative appearance.

Cedar mulch lasts for a maximum of 5 to 7 years. It is nonetheless recommended to add to it, as needed, every two years in order to maintain a soil covering at least 3 inches thick. This is recommended to maximize the many benefits that mulch offers. Bardobec's cedar mulch is available in bags of 2 cu ft and 3 cu ft.
